Knit-In for Komen

Drop by The Grove any time Sunday to knit pink scarves or a panel for one of Judy Thacker's awesome free-form throws.

All pieces will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and sold at a fund-raiser auction, with all proceeds going towards breast cancer research & education. Each garment you work on will bear your name and you can dedicate it to anyone you know who has been touched by breast cancer.

100% of all sales will go to the San Diego Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation:

• 75% of proceeds stay in San Diego for Education, Screening, Support and Treatment Programs.
• 25% supports the Komen Foundation Award and Research Grant Program.

All pink yarns used for the projects will be offered at a 20% discount.

Handouts on breast health and early detection of breast cancer will be available.

We'll be serving pink lemonade and pink cupcakes during the Knit-In. So call a friend or two and join us in using our craft for the greater good! Please call 619-284-7684 early to reserve your seat!
