Peacock Garnet Felted Bag & Cell Phone Case

Made from alpaca & silk, this felted shoulder bag is a perfect size (not too big, not too small) with the convenience of a separate cell phone case.

You won't miss any calls when you're wearing this one!

The bobble detail and I-cord finishing along with the braided handle, make this ensemble a show stopper. Be prepared for requests from friends and family!

This is a terrific opportunity to learn the seamless Turkish Cast-On, to make those cute decorative bobbles, and bind off by using an I-Cord finishing technique.

In the first class session, cast on and knit a gradual increase to provide shape to the bottom of the bag.

In the second class session, return ready to knit the bobbles, bind-off, and knit & braid the I-cord handles.

Felting will be done at home, but we'll provide you with the know-how and encouragement you'll need!

• 2 skeins Blue Sky Alpaca's Silk & Alpaca, Peacock (Color A)
• 1 skein Blue Sky Alpaca's Silk & Alpaca, Garnet (Color B)
• 2 US #10.5 circular needles
• 1 set of US #9 double pointed needles
• 1 button for cell phone case
• tapestry needle
• peacock-colored sewing thread & needle
• scissors or yarn cutter
