Baby Bobbi Bear Class

This darling bear has been our mascot for the past 5 years. We're pretty sure you won't be able to knit just one. Come visit our adorable store sample and give her a hug!

This design is amazing since there are very few seams and little finishing work. Learn to knit in the round, pick up stitches, shape, and do a duplicate stitch to create a svelte neck.

Class 1:

We'll cast-on and knit the body in the round and pick-up stitches to construct the legs.

Class 2:

Return to class with legs knitted. We'll pick-up stitches for the arms and begin the head construction.

Class 3:

Return to sew bear, embroider face and attach ears.

Materials

• 3 skeins Blue Sky Alpaca Sportweight yarn (10% discount on yarn for class)
• size 9/5.5mm double-pointed needles & 16" circulars (available at The Grove)
• stitch markers
• tapestry needle
• contrasting yarn to embroider face
• ribbon to tie around neck
• stuffing (e.g. Poly-fil)
• scissors or yarn cutter
