The Undulating Waves Scarf pattern, designed by Laura Nelkin specifically for the silk-like pima cotton "Susan" by Schaefer Yarns, is mesmerizing as the wave pattern crests with shimmering beads. This is a wonderful class for advanced knitters to learn how to incorporate beads into their fine knitting.

"Susan" by Shaeffer Yarn is one of the most exciting yarns we discovered at TNNA's 2008 show in Long Beach. Hand-dyed in scrumptious colors, this 100% pima cotton looks deceptively like silk because of its sheen. Its woven construction discourages pilling and stretching.

• 1 skein "Susan" yarn by Schaefer (10% discount on yarn for class)
• US size #5 needles
• 4 stitch markers
• needle threader
• scissors or thread snips

Kit includes:

• pattern
• 100 size 6 glass seed beads
• Big Eye needle (to string beads onto yarn)
