Pre-Requisite: ability to knit & purl

In this class, get a taste of the exciting projects in Twist and Loop. Annie will teach the basics of casting on, knitting and binding off using 26-30 gauge wire and beads to create this simple bangle bracelet.

In addition, Annie will cover topics such as adding beads to wire, finishing wire ends, and adding clasps. No jewelry making experience required, however, you must know how to knit and purl.

Annie will provide all non-knitting tools, but you should bring size 4, 5, 6 or 7 knitting needles to class (preferably aluminum) and needle nose pliers if you have a pair. WE CAN ONLY ACCOMMODATE 12 STUDENTS, SO CALL TODAY TO PREREGISTER!

Materials

• wire (included in $10 fee; available day of class)
• beads or pearls (included in $10 fee; available day of class)
• US size #4, #5, #6 or #7 aluminum knitting needles (available at The Grove)
• needle nose pliers
