Learn to knit a simple beanie in the colors of your favorite Hogwarts House, using the pattern from Alison Hansel's book Charmed Knits. If you wish, you can donate the hat to the Warm Woolies charity.

Charmed Knits author Alison Hansel and Wiley have partnered to create an online knit-along to benefit the Warm Woolies charity, a nonprofit organization whose volunteers knit clothing for poverty-stricken children who would otherwise suffer from cold. Their mission is to provide the very neediest children with wool sweaters, vests, mittens, hats, and slippers.

Materials

• book Charmed Knits by Alison Hansel (10% discount for class)
• yarn (10% discount for class)
• compatible needles according to yarn weight (available at The Grove)
• scissors or yarn cutter

The fees listed above cover instruction only. 10% discount applies to all yarns purchased for class on the day of class.
