Several of our customers undergoing chemotherapy have requested a hat pattern that has a thick brim so they don't look like they've lost their hair. This is it! And it's oh-so-comfortable and warm!

We'll be knitting the cover hat of Hip Knit Hats with reverse stockinette stripes and learning how to knit from the top down by using a figure 8 cast-on and increasing by making stitches.

• bulky yarn (or two worsted yarns to knit together to create a bulky)
