Have you just learned to knit and are ready to tackle your first garment? Dave will guide you from start to finish in knitting a light, close-fitting summer top with a row of dropped stitches through which you can weave an optional decorative ribbon.

Class 1, 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Saturday 7 April 2007:

  1. bring swatches to class
  2. measure gauge
  3. review the pattern
  4. select appropriate size
  5. make pattern changes if necessary
  6. begin knitting

Class 2, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Sunday 15 April 2007:

  1. return with piece knitted to eyelet row
  2. complete armhole and neck shaping

Class 3, 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM Sunday 22 April 2007:

  1. return with back completed to armhole shaping
  2. complete knitting
  3. assemble garment
