Knit Beanie Class

Knit our classic beanie and learn how to purl & decrease, sew seams and crochet the edging. Come see our shop sample and preregister while you're at it.

For beginning knitters wishing to learn to purl, decrease, and seam, this simple hat class is a must.

A single row of garter stitch defines the basic cap shape, and a light-colored yarn helps you to see the stitches as you are knitting them.

Also learn to edge your hat with a simple crochet stitch to ensure a good fit.

This one is so easy, many participants wear their hats home from class!

Materials (available at The Grove)

• 1 skein Blue Sky Organic Cotton yarn (10% discount on yarn for class)
• US size #9 needles (13" straights or 24" circular)
• US size H crochet hook
• scissors / yarn cutter
• tapestry needle
