Candy Crochet Sweater Class

This cute little girl's "Berry Pretty" sweater is easy breezy! Sizes 3-6, 9-12, 18-24 and 3 years are all included in this Candy Jensen pattern from her book, Candy Crochet: 50 Adorable Designs for Infants and Toddlers.

You'll be using half-double and single crochet stitches and will learn pattern reading, shaping, and garment piecing. Even if you've not tried garments before, this one is a cinch!

The pattern calls for a ribbon yarn, but I switched it up to use a Blue Sky Cotton (shop model is in the color "Pickle").

Materials (available at The Grove)

1. book: Candy Crochet (50 Adorable Designs for Infants and Toddlers $19.95 (class participants receive 10% discount)
2. 3 skeins of Blue Sky Cotton (150 yds)* for child's size 3
3. size J/10/6mm crochet hook
4. stitch markers (split or "safety pin" style)

* If substituting yarn, you MUST test stitch gauge before class

Gauge: 11 sts and 8 rows to 4"/10cm over half-double crochet (hdc)
