Crochet a Bouquet Part 2 Class

Skill Level: Intermediate

Take your petals to new levels with more complex flowers and an introduction to leaves and stems. Learn and broaden your knowledge of increasing, crocheting in the round, 3-D techniques and shaping.

This class can be taken separately from Part 1, but requires some understanding of increasing in the round and petal shaping.

Flowers will be formed using a variety of basic crochet stitches:

• single (sc)
• half-double (hdc)
• double (dc)
• triple/treble (trc)

 

 

Materials (available at The Grove)

1. book: Nicky Epstein's Crocheted Flowers (class participants receive 10% discount)
2. assorted skeins of sportweight or DK yarn such as Blue Sky Alpaca and Blue Sky Skinny Dyed Organic Cotton
3. sizes D, E, F, to G crochet hooks (as needed for labelled gauge)
4. scissors/yarn cutter
