The Grove's holiday sales were better than ever this
year despite the bleak forecast for retailers. We thank you profusely for supporting the indie merchants at the Grove!!! Together we make a difference.
So let's keep reading, writing, knitting, and surrounding ourselves and the ones we love with beautiful things.
HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM ALL OF US AT THE GROVE!

Greetings!
In January, we begin our spring & summer shopping starting with The National Needlework Association's annual convention in Long Beach. Selecting just the right yarns for our customers is our goal, but we need your help to do that. Please take a moment to email us at grovejuniper@sbcglobal.net before January 11th and let us know what you'd like us to carry!
We will also be attending another national gift show this month selecting the unique gift items you've come to depend on for birthdays, graduations, etc!
Given our travel schedule, classes will begin again in February.
Meanwhile:
- Knit Salon will continue to be held on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month from 6:30 - 9 pm, starting January 3rd ;
- On Friday, January 4th, at 7pm we will host San Diego Writers Ink's Open Mic; and
- The Brown Bag Writing Group will meet as usual
every Tuesday from noon to 1pm for a $5 participation fee.
And remember, we are always available for private knitting and crochet lessons at your convenience for the modest fee of $20 per hour! Just give us a call.
