Greetings!
Join us to knit or crochet an 8" x 8" square in the
colors of Virginia Tech (VT). These squares will be
mailed to the Mosaic Yarn Shop in Blacksburg, VA.
They will put the squares together as blankets - one
for every VT victim's family, for every injured person,
and one for the family of the shooter.
We have purchased the VT colors of maroon, burnt
orange, black & white in Lamb's Pride
Bulky and we are offering it at a 20% discount for
anyone knitting for this cause. You can, however, use
any fiber of your choosing in the VT colors.
2100 squares are needed. If you can't make it on
Saturday, just drop your squares off at The Grove any
time before May 31st and we'll send them along. Any
gauge yarn will do and any pattern of your choosing!
Many thanks, Susan & Anne
