Fall LeafHand-Dyed Lace Weight Yarns and
Addi Turbo Lace Needles

LACE! LACE! and more LACE!

cashmere

When you are going to put all that time into knitting lace, why not use cashmere? ArtYarns' 5-ply hand-dyed Cashmere is soft as only cashmere can be. But what distinguishes it from others, is its tender colorways that are as delicate as the weight of the yarn.

Their Silk Rhapsody is Prism-like (but not nearly as expensive) with a strand of shiny silk intertwined with the softest mohair imaginable.

And their Silk Mohair is as airy and wispy as clouds. The color palette is soft and well... tender is the word that comes to mind.

So come to the Grove to see and touch!

Greetings!

Oh, the gentility and femininity of lace! It has decorated women throughout the ages and it's popularity has returned! It is the latest fashion accessory to wear draped over tank tops on cool summer evenings, whether the tank top is made of Lycra and sequins or hemp.

All you lace knitters will be thrilled to know that Addi Turbo Lace Needles have arrived! These needles were manufactured in response to over 1000 e-mails from lace-minded knitters (including our customers) requesting more pointed needles and softer and longer cords. Skacel has provided us with exactly what we asked for!!! Sizes 4 & 6 circulars were first off the boat and they have arrived at The Grove in lengths up to 47". The needles are brass and the cords are a warm cherry color that readily soften in your hands and they are marked with legible (yes, legible) needle size imprints on the cords! For a good review, see Knitter's Review.

If you have your needles and yarn and are undecided about a pattern, stop by the Grove and flip through Victorian Lace Today or Interweave's latest book Lace Style: Traditional to Innovative 21 Inspired Designs to Knit where you're bound to find something intriguing!

Thursday, March 15 is Knit Salon from 6:30-9:00 p.m.
