Yarns at The Grove Newsletter New Arrivals
27 January 2007

Greetings!

Thank you for your input regarding the yarns you wish to see at the Grove. We were overwhelmed by your e-mails and so glad we asked! At the TNNA, we shopped from a wish list compiled from your responses. When we could, we got exactly what you wanted.

in this issue
  • Yarns at the Grove ~ Mission Statement
  • Euroflax Sportweight Yarn
  • Gems
  • Needle Felting & Hand-Dyeing Kits

  • Euroflax Sportweight Yarn
    Euroflax yarn

It is unusual to find a pure linen yarn with a lovely hand and drape, never mind one that is washable and dryable. Euroflax is just that and it comes in 33 beautiful colors and a dozen blends. At only $19.95 per skein for 275 yards, it's a terrific value.

    Gems
    Gems Merino yarn

Gems, a soft merino fingering weight, is well-suited for the current sock craze! We purchased some beautiful solid colors. After all, you can't always wear those beautiful hand-dyed varigated socks! At only $7.95 for 112 yards, you can't afford not to try this machine washable and dryable yarn!!!

    Needle Felting & Hand-Dyeing Kits

Oh man, are we excited about these!!! We've got 3 available in each, so don't miss out on being the first one to try them. Hey, how about getting your friends to buy them too and have an afternoon soiree of hand dyeing yarn or needle felting!

Yarns at the Grove ~ Mission Statement
    building

Maybe it has to do with living in Paradise where we have little weather; or, maybe it has to do with not having enough light-weight yarn at an affordable price. Whatever the reason, we recognize that the majority of our customers are not sweater knitters.

Well, we can't change our beautiful climate to sweater weather but we can encourage growth among our knitters by working hard to provide more well-priced light-weight yarns and we will not disappoint!

Our mission is to buy as much organic and natural fiber as possible from U.S. mills, where feasible, and to select yarns with an eye towards value. We are talking about delicately colored linens, bright colored hemp, hand-spun and hand-dyed organic cottons, organic wools, etc.

And when we talk about value, we're not talking about chain brand yarn. We're talking about finding the highest quality for the best price.

Combine the foregoing with our Sweater Design Workshop on February 3rd & 10th and you'll have a pattern for success.

So spread the good word to other knitters by forwarding this email!
