Allison Nevitt, owner of the Boston knitting salon "Circles", will be in town for the National Needlework Association and she has graciously agreed to facilitate a Greek Goddess Knitting Circle. Bring a simple knitting project to work on while Allison introduces us to knitting our inner Greek Goddesses. After she describes the female archetypes in the 7 original Olympian Goddesses, we will select one goddess and explore whether and how we see her in ourselves. We'll learn how Allison uses these explorations to create knitting projects to evoke or balance goddesses within ourselves as part of a larger process of inner balance and empowerment. We'll then have a brainstorming session to discuss possible projects to pursue.
