Class
Fiber Art Purse & Pin 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM Sunday 24 June & 1 July: $50 + $40 materials - Make a spectacular shoulder bag by arranging and sewing fibers on soluble fabric. In Class I, arrange and sew the strap and side panels. Leave with instructions on how to dissolve the fabric backing at home and return with your pieces ready to assemble in Class 2. We'll also do the lining in Class II and attach closures of your choice. Must bring portable sewing machine and know basic machine sewing skills. Materials: fibers, soluble fabric, matching thread, and lining fabric. Not included: button or other closure (sold separately or bring your own). Class Cancellation Policy
No Exceptions
In the event The Grove must cancel a class due to lack of participants, The Grove will issue a full refund. Participants who are unable to attend as planned must notify The Grove within five (5) days of the class in order to receive a refund, otherwise the class fee is forfeited. Fees cannot be applied to future classes.
The fees listed cover instruction only unless otherwise indicated. 10% discount applies to all yarns purchased for class on the day of class. Preregistration and advanced payment are required for all classes. Signing up is easy; just call 619.284.7684 or visit The Grove.
Knit & Crochet Summer Break
To our most valued knitters and crocheters: Summer is a time when Susan and most of our other teachers take a well-deserved break. However, Judy will be teaching the Fiber Art Purse Class and Susan will still be available for private lessons or to help with yarn selections.
Fall Classes
We'll be working on fall samples and exciting new classes. Knit Salons and Classes will resume with vigor in September! Until then, feel free to drop by and knit with us during our usual business hours. It's a great time to knit socks, among other things!
