Felted needle vase with pom poms:  Saturdays, May 6 & 13, 11-3pm.  Fee: $40.  Knit this incredibly whimsical yet practical knitting needle vase.  It's seamlessly knitted in the round from a provisional cast-on with the focus on shaping.  Felting instructions will be provided so you can finish the project at home.  For advanced beginners who know how to knit and purl. 

Crocheted Summer Shawl:  Saturdays, May 13 & 27, 1-4pm.  Fee:  $40.  Learn to crochet this awesome summer shawl (imagine a chain link fence pattern made out of sumptuous soft cotton) in 2 classes.  For intermediate beginners who know how to do chain stitches and double-crochets.  This is a great opportunity to learn how to increase.

 

KIRI SHAWL:  Saturday, May 20th, 1-4:30p.m.  Fee:  $25.  Expand your knitting skills by learning to knit this popular lace shawl.  The easy repeat pattern starts with a few stitches and grows until the desired length.  Although we won't finish the shawl in class, you will leave with all the know-how to complete it at home.  See www.alltangledup.com for the free pattern.

 

SIMPLE BABY BOOTIES:  Sunday, May 21, 12 noon-2:00 p.m.  Fee:  $25.  Learn to knit these adorable little booties in one class.  (We'll teach a matching baby hat class in June).  For advanced beginners who know how to knit and purl.

 

 

KNITTED CUPCAKE CLASS:  Wednesday, May 24, 6:30p.m.-9:00 p.m.  Fee:  $10.00.  The knitted cupcakes with embellished "frosting" tops from the recently released "One Skein" are TOO CUTE!!!  Join us for a knit-along as we create these pincushions while eating real cupcakes and sipping herbal tea!!!  Don't wait long to pre-register because this class is bound to fill quickly.  Class participants will be given a 15% discount on "One Skein".

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BEGINNer's KNITTED SHAWL cLASS:  Saturday, May 27, 1-4:00p.m.  Fee:  $25.  This is a terrific project for beginning knitters who have completed our scarf class.  This shawl is knitted with large needles and fringed with a combination of fibers.  We start with 3 stitches and increase every edge until the desired length.  See our gorgeous store sample.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:   In the event the Grove needs to cancel a class due to lack of participants, the Grove will issue a full refund. Participants who are unable to attend as planned, must notify the Grove within five days of the class in order to receive a refund. Otherwise the class fee is forfeited. Fees cannot be applied to future classes.
